After working downtown for many years in various IT roles, I stepped away from corporate and city life in 2019 with my wife, Deb, and our two spoiled dogs. The transition from city life to rural life has been an adventure, to say the least! We developed our property and renovated our little farm house — from running power, drilling a water well, and installing septic – Never mind figuring out how to grow food in a climate that delivers frost year-round, even during the warm summer months…
The learning curve has been steep, but the rewards are plentiful. The best thing has been reconnecting with Mother Nature and living off the land, to the best of our ability! We have also discovered how welcoming and helpful people are in the rural setting. Although our neighbors are spread farther apart, the community feels welcoming and connected.
Now that things have settled on our farm, I've decided to expand my world once again! I am pleased to announce I am now a fully licensed REALTOR® working with @CIR REALTY. CIR spends a significant amount of energy on training and supporting their associates I am happy to have joined this great organization, and will provide realty services for Calgary, Cochrane, Water Valley, Cremona and up to the Sundre area.
My goal is to help my clients find the perfect home, acreage, or rural property. During my own property search, we had a great agent named Robin Burwash that took the time to help us locate the right place for our family. It was a great experience, now it's my turn to pay it forward.
