I am Alberta born and raised, and I was raised in Calgary. Before real estate, I spent years working in IT and corporate roles downtown. In 2019, I stepped away from city life and made the move to rural Alberta.
That move gave me more than a change in lifestyle. It gave me firsthand experience with the realities of owning and improving rural property. Since moving rural, I have developed my own property, renovated our farmhouse, run power, drilled a water well, and installed septic. Those experiences shape how I help clients today.
Rural real estate is different from buying or selling a typical city home. On country property, the details matter. Wells, septic systems, zoning, access, outbuildings, land use, privacy, and how a property functions day to day all play a role in value, marketability, and buyer confidence. I believe clients are better served when those details are understood clearly from the start.
Living rural gives me a practical advantage. I understand the appeal of more space, more privacy, and a stronger connection to the land, but I also understand the responsibilities that come with it. That perspective helps me guide buyers with clear expectations and helps me market sellers’ properties with more accuracy and credibility.
